Toms Starts Strong at John Deere, Wie Impressive

Shreveport's David Toms has the leaderboard in sight at the John Deere Classic in Illinois. Toms returned from a few weeks off to shoot a 4-under 67 in the first round. With half the field left on the golf course he is tied for ninth.

Michelle Wie, 15, sent some shockwaves through the TPC at Deere Run. She shot a 1-under 70 and is currently tied for 58th. Nearly half the field is still on the course.
